The 18th annual Bike For Life was held on Saturday, Sept 19, 2015. We had 8 riders and two support vehicles to start the journey from Armour to the Alpha Center in Sioux Falls. We left Redeemer Lutheran church at approximately 7:30 and rode in a heavy fog to our first stop at Faith Lutheran Church in Parkston where they provided us with a light breakfast. From Parkston we rode to Freeman and lunch was furnished by the ladies from St Paul Lutheran Church. Two more riders joined us at Freeman. We made our final stop at First English Lutheran church in Parker. After our stop In Parker we headed out on the last leg of our journey and our final destination, the Alpha Center in Sioux Falls. We arrived at the Alpha Center to honking horns and hugs of congratulations. The Alpha center furnished us with a meal before we all left for home.
I would like to thank the bikers, support vehicle drivers and everyone who kept us in their prayers! Your support is greatly appreciated! I would also like to thank Krulls Markets for their donation of water, Gatorade and snacks for our trip.
All money raised goes to support the Alpha Centers ultrasound ministry. If you would like to donate to this great cause you can give your donation to Julie Hinckley or mail it directly to the following address please earmark your checks Bike For Life:
